LONDON CITY COUNCILLORS FORCED TO GO FOR "SENSITIVITY TRAINING" TO GET THEIR
BRAINS SCRUBBED How fragile are our freedoms? How completely minority
whipped and dominated are we in Canada? If you look at London, Ontario, the
answers are not encouraging. A controversial London city councillor
discovers a friend who, he says, had access to his Facebook had posted
something -- the prissy press won't tell us exactly what -- that is
"inappropriate." The councillor immediately takes it down. Somebody sees it.
This busybody, we're not told who, complains about it. We're not told why.
London City Council sucks in its breath with collective shock and all enrol
to have their brains scrubbed; that is, to subject themselves to a day-long
sensitivity training, mass struggle session.

"London’s entire city council must take sensitivity training after a racy
song was posted on one councillor’s Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/>page.
*The Free Press* has learned a programme focusing on women abuse and family
violence, which all city workers already must take, is now mandatory for
council — the fallout of an online flare-up that’s ensnared Coun. Stephen
Orser.'I apologize to anyone who was offended by it,' Orser said of a
YouTube <http://www.youtube.com/> music video, titled *The Pussycat Song*,
he says was posted by a female friend who had access to his
Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/>page'“(The friend’s) sense of humour
is a whole different ball game than
mine. As soon as I saw it, I removed it.'The song, full of not-so-subtle
double entendres, was only posted briefly, Orser said.

But at least one person who saw it on Orser’s personal
Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/>page — on which he identifies
himself as a city councillor — complained to
city hall. City manager Jeff Fielding spearheaded the anti-abuse program
that was launched last year at city hall, where there’ve been some ugly
incidents in the past. While he wouldn’t discuss Orser’s
Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/>posting, Fielding said he spoke to
Mayor Joe Fontana, who agreed council
should get the training. 'I’m going to praise the mayor for taking the
necessary steps,' Fielding said Wednesday. 'Personally, I think this is very
beneficial.' The city launched the program last January. It’s designed to
train all 3,000 city employees to better recognize and react to abuse and
other forms of violence in the workplace, at home and in the
community. (*London
Free Press*, January 7, 2011)

It's as if some anonymous kid had written a bad word on naughty little
Stevie Orser's notebook. The teacher had found out and kept the whole class
of innocent kids in after school to write out 100 times: "In politically
correct Canada, we must not write naughty words that offend some
thin-skinned minority on some other student's notebook."

"*Double entendres*"? Say it's not true. We're hyperventilating! What is the
matter with these witless politicians? None of them is responsible, except
Orser who removed the offending posting or song as soon as he saw it. Why
should the others, led by Joe Fontana, a former Liberal MP, subject
themselves to a day of politically correct preaching, which, almost
certainly the taxpayers will have to pay handsomely to provide? Should they
not let their constituents be their moral guides? Would their time not be
better spent and the money of the taxpayers, who pay their salaries, about
the city's business than being the passive audience of a cultural
communistic mass democracy struggle session?

Speaking of "sensitivity" wouldn't "sensitivity traning" be better directed
at Third World immigrants to explain that practices like head to toe *burkas
*or *niqabs *or the demand that male Sikhs be entitled to carry their
daggers (kirpans) when Majority members are not allowed to carry concealed
weapons are offensive to the founding/settler Majority in Canada. What about
sensitivity to OUR feeliings for once?

London’s entire city council must take sensitivity training after a racy
song was posted on one councillor’s Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/>page.

*The Free Press* has learned a program focusing on women abuse and family
violence, which all city workers already must take, is now mandatory for
council — the fallout of an online flare-up that’s ensnared Coun. Stephen
Orser.

“I apologize to anyone who was offended by it,” Orser said of a
YouTube<http://www.youtube.com/>music video, titled
*The Pussycat Song*, he says was posted by a female friend who had access to
his Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/> page.

“(The friend’s) sense of humour is a whole different ball game than mine. As
soon as I saw it, I removed it.”

The song, full of not-so-subtle double entendres, was only posted briefly,
Orser said.

But at least one person who saw it on Orser’s personal
Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/>page — on which he identifies
himself as a city councillor — complained to
city hall.

City manager Jeff Fielding spearheaded the anti-abuse program that was
launched last year at city hall, where there’ve been some ugly incidents in
the past.

While he wouldn’t discuss Orser’s Facebook
<http://www.facebook.com/>posting, Fielding said he spoke to Mayor Joe
Fontana, who agreed council
should get the training.

“I’m going to praise the mayor for taking the necessary steps,” Fielding
said Wednesday. “Personally, I think this is very beneficial.”

The city launched the program last January. It’s designed to train all 3,000
city employees to better recognize and react to abuse and other forms of
violence in the workplace, at home and in the community.

The training requires a full-day course for city managers and a half-day for
all other employees.

With Orser bracing for a backlash over the
Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/>posting, the misstep again
underscores the risks posed by social media to
politicians and anyone with a public profile.

Last month, a man appointed to the London Transit Commission board resigned
after tweeting a vulgar insult at a city councillor — coincidentally, the
target was Orser.

No stranger to controversy, Orser encountered a few potholes during his
first term on council.

Despite that — and notwithstanding a thorny relationship with proponents of
Old East Village, a part of his ward — he was re-elected handily Oct. 25.

Orser says he has no problem with the training. He maintains a friend who
had access to his Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/> profile posted the
controversial song during a small gathering at Orser’s home.

“I’ve learned one thing — nobody else goes on my computer,” he said.

THE KING'S SPEECH -- WHAT IF, ASKS FORMER CANADIAN DIPLOMAT IAN MACDONALD

Dear Sir

The King's Speech

Christopher Hitchens (*NP* January 26) should confine his twisted opinions
(on British foreign policy leading to WWII) to his small circle of
like-minded, fanatical Anglophobes where he is less likely to be greeted
with derision and dismissed as a crackpot, or worse..

Of course, King George VI championed Chamberlain's efforts to avoid war,
just as would any knowledgeable Briton with his country's best interests at
heart and mindful of the recent horrors of WWI from which Britain had not
yet recovered. If the price of peace was no more than the restoration to
Germany of land stolen by her vengeful enemies at Versailles, it would have
been immeasurably preferable to a fratricidal war against a
highly-civilized, powerful, Christian, natural ally who served as a bulwark
against the increasingly ominous threat from the East where the genocidal
tyrant Stalin was plotting the conquest of Europe, if not the world.

Hitchens ridicules and condemns Edward VIII as pro-German, as if this
attribute had negative connotations. In fact, had the German-speaking Edward
remained King, in all likelihood Britain's relations with Germany would have
improved to the point that war would have become unthinkable, and a
NATO-style alliance of Christian nations formed which would have enabled
Germany to end the Bolshevik menace and liberate Stalin's terrified
subjects.

Instead of this eminently sound, productive solution (which would have been
warmly embraced by Mackenzie King, the Canadian Prime Minister at the time,
who was an ardent admirer of Adolf Hitler and all his works) venal British
politicians, spurred on by the war-mongering, war-criminal-in-waiting
Churchill and an avenging, German-hating media, committed Britain to an
egregiously masochistic European civil war, the outcome of which could in no
way serve British interests and would inevitably accelerate sharply the
decline of Western Christian Civilization, ensuring perpetual conflict.

Had the "stupid, selfish, vain" Hitler-friendly Edward remained on the
throne and war averted, the world today would be much happier and certainly
much more secure place. A hundred million lives would have been spared,
Soviet citizens would have had their freedom and productivity restored,
China would have evolved along Taiwanese lines (saving at least 30 million
lives), the Korean, Vietnamese and virtually all other wars would not have
happened, the Third World would have avoided chaotic, premature
decolonization, there would be no costly turmoil in the Middle East, no
Palestinian problem, no socially-disruptive mass migrations from the Third
World and, best of all, no Zionist lobbies and international banksters
subverting Western democracies and bribing corrupted politicians to act
against the best interests of their own countries in favour of a small,
unpopular, duplicitous, racist, thieving, destabilizing, aggressor nation
that has become a world centre for criminal activity in all its forms.

An educated, objective observer surely would find Hitchens' description of
Edward VIII to apply more accurately to himself. At a minimum, Hitchens, as
an historian, is a bigoted ignoramus.

As ever,

Ian Macdonald

Paul Fromm Warns Montanans of Threats to Free Speech on the Internet

*Paul Fromm Warns Montanans of Threats to Free Speech on the Internet*

* *

*KALISPEL, MT. January 19, 2011*. Canadian Free speech activist, Paul Fromm,
warned a Montana audience tonight of cross-border threats to freedom of
speech on the Internet. “The thought control fanatics are the same on both
sides of the border in their efforts to stop dissent,” he said.

Mr. Fromm explained the sorry Canadian experience with hate laws. “The
Canadian Jewish Congress started lobbying the federal government for
restrictions on free speech back in the 1930s,” the former Canadian educator
explained. By 1965, they had a sympathetic ear in Ottawa. Lester Pearson
appointed a stacked seven-man Royal Commission on Hate Propaganda.,
including the chairman Maxwell Cohen and Saul Hayes, both former presidents
of the Canadian Jewish Congress. They joined an upstart leftist Quebec
academic, soon to shoot to national prominence, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, an
ardent admirer of Mao (he co-authored *Two Innocents in China*) and Castro..

The Cohen commission faced several problems. One was that there was very
little “hate propaganda” in Canada and what little there was involved a few
newspapers like the Thunderbolt from the U.S. – hardly the stuff of a major
problem demanding restrictions on such basis rights as freedom of speech.
Somehow the Commission had to justify such restrictions to a far more
homogeneous society that took personal freedoms seriously. So, they
commissioned a report from an obscure Jewish psychologist at the University
of Toronto, Frederick Kaufman. His report, even then described as “highly
theoretical” rather than empirical, argued that “hate propaganda” had a bad
effect on minorities,. Making them doubt themselves, not want to be
themselves, leading them to withdraw from society and finally in extremes
hit the booze and the pills. Here was the “justification” needed for the
restrictive measures, the Commission was looking for.

“Politicians. react to headlines. To justify repression, there had to be
some apparent danger,” said Mr. Fromm. Miraculously, in the spring of 1965,
as the Cohen Commission was is session along came John Beattie and his
Canadian Nazi Party. His seven man “party” consisted, Mr. Fromm explained,
of one dupe – Beattie who was convinced by Jewish agents to name his
anti-communist group the Canadian Nazi Party, rather than the British
People’s League -- one possible National Socialist from Holland and five
agents of the Canadian Jewish Congress,. For one heady spring, Beattie’s
every word was front page headlines. Beattie was eventually entrapped by his
head of security, a private detective working for the CJC, to commit several
acts of trespass which led to a savage six months sentence and the demise of
the CNP.

However, the headlines provided justification for repression. See, censors
cojuld argue, here we have home-grown Nazis led by a young, Canadian born
man. We need speech controls.

And, so Canada got its “hate law”, Sec. 319 of the Criminal Code. It was
enacted in 1971 just in time to put a chill on discussions of the results of
another of the huge changes in 1965 – the abandonment of Canada’s
traditional British/European immigration policy, in favour of throwing the
doors open to the Third World with the goal of eventually replacing the
European founder/settler people.

Other forms of repression followed like Sec,. 13 of the Canadian Human
Rights Act which now controls the Internet and under which neither truth or
intent are offences. “The Canadian Association for Free Expression has spent
14 years fighting this law. With Marc Lemire’s victory in 2009, where this
law was declared unconstitutional, we finally began to roll back censorship
in Canada,” Mr. Fromm said. “Dr.. Michael Persinger, a neuropsychologist
testified that the Kaufmann report on which the Canadian Supreme Court
relied in upholding the hate law” and Sec. 13 in 1990 was, in fact, junk
science., Critical speech has no such evil effects on groups named.

“It may seem a little harsh to call Canada ‘Burma North,’” Mr. Fromm
explained, “but in both countries opposition to powerful ruling groups – the
aging ugly generals in Burma, powerful minority groups in Canada – can bring
jail time, job loss, hefty fines and years in the immensely costly judicial
system, where the ordeal really is abuse BY process.” The Lemire case has
dragged on for six years and has been extended further by the Canadian Human
Rights Commission’s appeal to the Federal Court, hoping to overturn thbeir
loss.

Mr. Fromm’s visit was organized by activist April Gaede whom he interviewed
on his VOICE OF REASON RADIO show.
