Terry Tremaine Tour a Huge Success

LONDON, ON. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. This evening the Canadian
Association for Free Expression wound up a very successful seven-city,
three province speaking tour, with former political prisoner, Terry
Tremaine. Mr. Tremaine won a huge victory in the Court of Queen's
Bench in Regina last Thursday when Judge Frederick Kovach stayed an
11-count charge under Canada's notorious "hate law", Sec. 319 of the
Criminal Code. Judge Kovach ruled that the undue delay of 50 months
had violated Mr. Tremaine's right to a speedy trial as guaranteed
under Sec.11.b of Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

The theme of the tour was "The Seven Year Torment of Terry Tremaine,"
who was victimized by a human rights complaint, under the now
discredited and repealed Sec. 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act,; a
Criminal Code complaint (now dismissed); a successful complaint to the
University of Saskatchewan which cost him his job; and at least two
"contempt of court" complaints which may end up in Mr. Tremaine's
being sentenced to prison on October 9 in Vancouver. All of these
complaints were instigated by self-styled Ottawa l"human rights"
lawyer Richard Warman.

Mr. Tremaine wears his trademark Ottawa Senators fatigue cap
everywhere he goes. "It's a symbol of my torment. I got it in August,
2006, during my Warman-instigated Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. Six
years later my case is still not finished, my life is on hold and my
cap is stil with me."

Mr. Tremaine pointed out the totalitarian nature of the Canadian Human
Rights Tribunal mindset, which seeks to stifle dissent. In his
February, 2007 decision, Tribunal member Michel Doucet stated: "Mr.
Tremaine's writings do not constitute legitimate political discourse
because they do not promote equality."

|"I am a Darwinian and I do not believe people are equal. That's
self-evident." The Canadian Human Rights Commission has not the
removal of certain passages from Mr. Tremaine's website but the
website in its entirety. It's over this issue that he still faces a
contempt of court sentencing hearing on October 9. Mr. Tremaine who
made over 3,000 posts on STORMFRONT.ORG ( http://stormfront.org/ )
under the name "Mathdoktor99" create the website in question:
http://nspcanada.nfshost.com ( http://nspcanada.nfshost.com/ ).

"Does the Canadian justice really believe in 'innocent until proven
guilty'?" Mr. Tremaine asked. His initial bail conditions forbade him
from owning a computer or using a computer or any other device that
could access the Internet, In addition to lecturing on mathematics at
the University of Saskatchewan, Mr. Tremaine had a business building
Internet applications. "Denying me access to a computer, and my
computer which had been seized by the police, put an end to my
business," he explained.

Furthermore, Mr. Tremaine remaining bail undertaking or conditions
prevent from accessing the Internet to express his political views or
to add to or modify his website. Thus, he has been effectively gagged
politically since January of 2008, or 50 months, as Judge Kovach
noted. These "prejudicial" and draconian bail conditions gagged him
longer than the maximum sentence of two years possible for a
conviction under the "hate law."

"The bottom line," said CAFE Director Paul Fromm, who accompanied Mr.
Tremaine on the tour, "is that the 'hate law' must be repealed or
ruled unconstitutional. It must go. It is tyranny and involves not an
abuse of process but an abuser BY process," he added.

The whirlwind tour visited Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton,
Toronto, Ottawa and London.
